New Facebook Fan Page for Camp M.A.S.H.

August 3, 2010

Hello Foundation Friends!

Adding to our social networking site, the Wisconsin Chapter has added a facebook fan page for our camp for children, Camp M.A.S.H. (Make Arthritis Stop Hurting).

The Wisconsin Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation offers a wide variety of Juvenile Arthritis Programs to provide support to children with juvenile arthritis and their families through newsletters, educational materials and Family Day.

Camp M.A.S.H. is our six-day residential camp for children ages 9–17. Children share their experiences and learn about coping with their arthritis in a supportive atmosphere. Lasting friendships are formed that help youngsters feel accepted and understood as they bond with other kids living with arthritis too.

Experienced professional and recreational staff work together to develop the camp program. Emphasis is placed on opportunities for involvement in activities the camper may not otherwise experience.

Since Camp starts on Saturday, why don’t you click over to facebook and search for Arthritis Foundation, Wisconsin Chapter? Become a fan and then scroll down to see our favorite pages. You’ll find the Camp fan page there, too.
